The Shelter opened late summer of 2012 and has quickly become one of Mount Pleasant’s favorite bars and restaurants, with a reputation for an outstanding locally sourced menu, amazing brunch, that also hosts a vibrant evening cocktail and music scene alongside a dog and family-friendly hangout.

Cool place- good food and drinks! Cool place to hang with friends or couples (or families) got frozen drinks and burgers. I think it was the "bartender burger". OMG so good! Fun to stand outside and play games while waiting.

Really cool beachy vibe here with a big wooden deck surrounding the restaurant, with cornhole outside and a pool table inside. Bartender was quick to offer service and was really good at keeping me engaged as I was there solo...
